Reflections on the last day of 2019 – Time to make time
So as the year comes to an end, we do look back to the events and happenings of the year. We tend to reminisce and find ourselves either smiling or being a little withdrawn depending on what cards we were dealt with and how we played them.
For me, it was a year of getting back to work on a part-time but regular basis as family life allowed that to happen. It did not seem so at the beginning of the year of 2019 though. I was still mainly on maternity leave and my health was not 100%. I was not able to commit to working much with ongoing aches and pains within myself. Seeking help and making huge changes got me back on track which got my work momentum and rhythm just how I wanted it to be, which was to work at least 15-20 hours a week. It has been an absolute pleasure getting back to doing what I love to do by working towards it, by making time and space for the work and wellbeing aspect to flourish.
So I would like to thank those who have come for treatments and most importantly benefitted from it. I would like to thank those who have helped me heal and get well again. I am grateful to the pilates and yoga teachers who work tirelessly to get us into the correct postures and help us relax both the body and mind.
So as I say goodbye to this year, I am open to what may come my way in 2020 and wish you all a healthy, happy and Peaceful new year. May you make time to make time to do what you love.
