Each day is a gift and each day i realize it with a new passion. It has been a while since I last blogged. So much has been going on this summer that this part of my routine has been taken a back seat. I have however continued doing treatments providing acupuncture, sports and remedial and deep tissue massage both at the clinic in Finchley and also quite a bit of travelling with home visits.
And I have missed it. Blogging is a way of connecting with whoever is reading, even if contact is never made, there is a connection.
Some find reading a particular way of writing interesting and I hope you find the tips, positive thoughts, and case studies, research articles I endeavour to blog interesting and indeed useful.
With the change in temperature and now in September, perhaps it is useful to include the lovely thought of the day I read this morning, “Each day provides its own gifts”.
Summer is almost over but change is one thing that is constant and each day is unique and brings it own gifts.
It may not seem like it when we are stuck in traffic, queues or facing bad weather, that we have an outlet to know it will never last. Focusing on the beauty and positivity in our lives make so much difference to our breathing patterns and to ultimately to our health and healing. We have a choice and each choice makes a difference.
Along with working this weekend, with a full house of patients having acupuncture and massage, I am making an effort to be outdoors this weekend and go for a long walk in my area on Sunday. It’s a great way to rejuvenate and enjoy the last of the evening light. The trees and scrubs are still lovely and green and there is life everywhere you go.
It’s such a privilege to be in a country with the four seasons. Have a fantastic weekend with whatever you are doing.
