Why is change a constant? As we look around us, it is not difficult to notice the seasonal shift in the mornings and evenings particularly at the moment. The days are cooler and not as warm, although we do optimistically hope for a final hot spell before we dwell into autumn!
Transition and change is constant. That is one thing we get to understand in life, just like the seasons, change is constant and inevitable. We tend to flow with the change and wear warmer clothes to accommodate the approaching cooler spell and the transition into Autumn.
Other aspects of change and transition may be around our work, kids back to school, a possible change in career, moving house, starting a family, thinking of falling pregnant, changes in hormones, going through menopause, the list is endless!
The question is how do we cope with change? How do we find our body copes with the winter bugs and immunity during the colder months of the year? How are we finding the change into menopause? How are we coping with the void if our kids are leaving home for university?
Acupuncture can help with strengthening our bodies, lungs, immunity to help us cope and find a good balance in whatever we may be facing on a daily basis and welcome the changes around us.
Acupuncture helps by strengthening the lungs and balancing the body. On many occasions I combine it with massage, be it myofascial release, sports and remedial massage or Tuina Chinese massage. Treatments are all tailor made and no two sessions are alike. It all depends on what the body needs support with.
To help new patients transition into the new season, I am offering a 10% discount in September, because change is constant.
